Potato Latkes

German Latkes Ingredients 1 large Potato peeled and grated A large pinch of salt 1medium egg Grated parmesan (optional) 1desert spoon of butter Squeeze the water out of the potato,mix well with egg and salt.Add a little bit of parmesan. Melt a little bit of butter and in a frying pan and fry in small flat patty shape cakes until golden on both side.

serve with sour cream and chives (optional)
